Goldfrapp began writing and recording their fourth album at the end of in Bath, England. Seventh Tree, their fourth album, was released in February , and débuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart. The album is a departure from the pop and electronic-dance music featured on Supernature, and features ambient and downtempo music.
