James (Jimmy) Griffin (born Aug, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA – died Janu, Franklin, Tennessee, USA) was a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, perhaps best known for his work with the 's rock band Bread. In the 's he co-wrote a lot of songs with Michael Z. Gordon. Mostly credited as "Jimmy Griffin" during his early career.

Neither the album nor the singles, “Breakin’ Up Is Easy,” “She Knows,” and “How Do You Say Goodbye,” made the Billboard charts. Bread reformed in for one final album, Lost Without Your Love.
