Can We Call A Truce - Sugababes - Catfights And Spotlights (CD, Album)

22.11.2021

I'm just looking forward to seeing a new Sugababes video on TV. I don't know when was the last time I've seen Girls on. LaLaLaNov 19, So some of them become chairs and we sit on them. No Can Do is a decent song but I still don't think its a good single choice.

Hopefully, the video is good and maybe it'll grab a lot of people's attention. It's defo not the promotion FanaticalNov 19, SloMoverNov 19, I Can We Call A Truce - Sugababes - Catfights And Spotlights (CD that there are two reasons for current commercial slump of Sugababes: 1. Loss of 'cool girlband' image Ridiculed line-up change, dreadful charity single, promoting shoes, change of attitude from hip girls to future housewives, etc. Sugababes 3. Skipping the girls, then trumpets track, boring track, boring track, boring track, boring track, boring track, ok track that is kind of funny, boring track, boring track, boring track, good track, boring bonus track, shit bonus track.

The girls have gone in a different direction this time and they have succeded here as well. Catfights and Spotlights really blows me away. Tracks that I highly recomend Girls of course - a 60th touched-song which has the most stunning verses.

A really smashing song!! Their best on this album. No can do - This one really rocks! Great vocals and reminds me of the supremes and michael jackson, Also one of my very favorites.

This is probably the next single Beware - This should have been the next James Bond song!! Its a darker and funkier song from the girls, wich also rocks.

The other songs on the album is very good as well, especially the up-beat song You on a good day, and the faultles ballad Unbreakable heart!! Sunday rain another stunning ballad, Sidechick and Hanging on a star is also good tracks. All in all I think this is Can We Call A Truce - Sugababes - Catfights And Spotlights (CD heck of an album. Go buy it, its deffinately worth every penny!!! And the boklet to this album is their best!! Showing 0 comments. There was a problem loading the comments at the moment.

Got this through today, after pre-ordering from Amazon. It's not so bad, takes a few listens to really get into it, as does most music these days. Over all a good atempt this time around, but I don't think this will be a fave of mine. Before I review the best tracks, I would like to comment on what is written on the inside cover under thank you's.

Seems there are hints that this could be the final album from the babes. Even Keisha thanking Mutya and Siobhan for their contibution to the band. If however this is the case, they have had a great career, even though the line up has changed a few times. They will be sadly missed but lets hope they keep on making more albums. Now on to the tracks, will note the ones worth listening to and the ones that are not.

The album kicks off with the new single 'Girls'. Musiquelover64RunawaywithmeDoggySwami and 1 other person like this. VasiliosFeb 28, DoggySwamiFeb 28, Interestingly I understand what Keisha means about Catfights, whilst it is probably my favourite Sugababes album.

It did try hard to be "authentically Sugababes", and it was a Can We Call A Truce - Sugababes - Catfights And Spotlights (CD album like One Touch, but was it right for that line-up?

I don't know. I'm glad she thinks the songs on it are great though, because there really are some career highlights on there. W2KFeb 28, DoggySwami likes this.

BlaykeFeb 28, Whisky87 and Musiquelover64 like this. Plus there are also some great gems on there: no can do, Sunday rain, and can we call a truce. Speaking of Catfights and Spotlights, Side Chick really holds up as an absolute corker.

It might be my favourite on the album, which, after all these years now feels like one of their strongest efforts. AlphableatFeb 28,
